For Sale: Bankers Utilities Co. Coin Bank - Washington Union Trust
Vintage/antique locking metal bank with leather cover. Missing original key. A new replacement key is included (not pictured). The locking mechanism appears faulty, and doesn't work very well. It tends to slip back into the locking position. When you turn the key to unlock it you can see it bends against the outer wall, and it very easily dislodges and snaps back to the locked position. I'm not sure if/how it can be fixed.
Nice design with Washington, Pennsylvania text on front, "Book of Trust" on spine, and FDIC logo on back. Appears to be a green color. About 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 1" and weighs 10oz. Moderate surface wear, but overall looks very nice.
