    KPM Berlin Hand Painted WWI Altes Museum & Gold Snake Handle Empire Form Cup
    Beautiful porcelain empire form oversized cabinet cup and saucer. Nicely decorated with a very nicely hand painted scene of the Altes Museum on Berlin's Museum Island framed in gold gilding. With relief molding beading along the top and bottom, relief molded snake handle, and three relief molded claw feet. With gold gilt highlights to the snake handle and feet, and gold bands along the top and bottom and around the saucer. Marked on the bottom with the blue scepter mark used by KPM Berlin. It also has a black iron cross used by KPM Berlin between 1915 and 1918.
    Minor usage wear to the saucer consistent with age and very minor wear to the gilding, mostly on the nails on the claw feet.
