This is a magnificent
German 19th Century Wall Plaque Hand Painting on Porcelain of Semi Nude red hair with blue eyes Girl
, ca 1840.
Very beautifully
hand painted pretty young girl holding a letter on his hand.
This exceptional painted scene is virtually flawless despite being over 180 years old, and it is still in its original black frame. This extremely valuable porcelain plaque is fully marked with the official stamped KPM factory marks of the Royal Scepter on top of the initials KPM plus a incised initial H; this mark adopted the early representation of the royal scepter, and was used from 1837 until 1844.
. Size of actual plaque is 29,5 cm high by 19,5 cm wide and black wooden frame is 41 cm high by 31 cm wide. Condition is mint with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Ready to hang and adore.
