    An old 1869 canceled Machias Savings Bank passbook with detailed entries from Oct 1869 - Dec1872.
    Made of lightweight printed paper and measures 4" x 6".
    Machias Savings Bank was founded in 1869 and this passbook represents one of the first accounts.
    Used estate condition: still intact but somewhat fragile and will need careful handling; with wear which is most noticeable on binding, as seen in photos; and with soiling, foxing, & staining.
    An interesting ephemera lot from the 19thC.
