    Description

    K&N
High Performance Air Filter - CM-9910
    Brand New
2010-2013 Can-Am Spyder RT (All Version)
2013-2016 Can-Am Spyder RS, RSS, ST (All Version)
    And
Can-Am Ryker All Years and Versions (Both Engine and CVT (2 Filters))
Adding a K&N Air Filter to your Can-Am Spyder or Ryker will not only add additional air flow, but the standard service interval is 50,000 miles! Saving you time and money. Dirty environments will require a more frequent service interval (recommended 25,000 miles). Servicing the K&N Air Filter is quick and easily done with a K&N Recharge kit. This can be done several times giving you a virtually unlimited service life for this Air Filter.
    For the Can-Am
    Ryker
(all years and models) I recommend installing (2) K&N Air Filters (both CM-9910). The left side houses the Engine Air Intake Filter. And the Right side is where the CVT (Content Velocity Transmission) Air Filter is located. The CVT transmission is air cooled with a high volume, high velocity fan. It pulls ambient air in through the air filter and cools the pullies and rubber drive belt. This is a very important process. The longevity of the belt is very dependent on keeping the system cool. Overheating the belt can greatly shorten its life span.
I was very surprised that my original paper air filter for the CVT was very dirty after less than 3,000 miles. And I only rode on relatively clean pavement. Air Flow becomes restricted when the paper air filter get dirty. The CVT components can get too hot.
The K&N Air Filter will flow 50% more air than the Paper Air Filter when brand new. The great thing is that the K&N air filter loses only a small amount of air flow as it gets dirty. Maintaining about the same air flow when dirty, as the Paper filter does when new.
I have installed K&N Filters in bolt locations on my Can-Am Ryker. But it is OK to just install one K&N Air Filter on one side or the other.
